Mandatory flu shots for Southeast Health employees, which includes the Medical Center, Medical Group, Foundation, Statera and ACOM, begin on September 16th, 2024. Employees must have proof of receiving a flu shot by November 1st, 2024. Flu shots are being offered at the Medical Center at no cost to team members. Per our policy, flu shots are mandatory for employment within the health system. The only exceptions are those who received a medical or a religious exemption.
Everyone who is receiving their flu vaccine through Southeast Health must have a consent completed in Immuware before being administered a shot. You must apply for a religious or medical exemption by Monday, October 4th, 2024. Immuware instructions on the following can be found below.

The flu vaccine schedule:
Southeast Health Medical Center – Seventh Floor Conference Room – Doctors Building- This is for employed team members only
- Southeast Health team members (Including Southeast Health employed Physicians)
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning September 16 to October 30 from 7 – 10 a.m. and 2 – 4 p.m.
- You do not need to schedule an appointment to receive the flu vaccine, you can walk-in and it will be administered on a first come, first serve basis.
If you choose to get your flu shot somewhere other than Southeast Health, you must turn in proof of the vaccine with a copy of the paperwork.
To submit information if you received a flu shot somewhere other than Southeast Health or to find the links for the medical and religious exceptions, for instructions to submit information to Immuware. Medical or Religious exceptions must be submitted by Friday, October 4. You will be notified if your exception has been approved.
If you have not received your flu shot and you don’t have an exemption by the deadline, you will be sent home until you comply with the policy. An employee who is sent home will have a week to comply or risk being terminated. If you have any questions, please address them with your director.
