Robert Michael O’Brien, MD, is a family medicine provider with the Southeast Health Westgate Clinic He is a member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center and has an office located at the Southeast Health Westgate Clinic.

Dr. O’Brien came to Dothan after serving in the United States Air Force at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery. While at Maxwell, he was the chief of primary care and emergency medicine at Air University Regional Hospital.

Dr. O’Brien received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his internship and residency at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.
