Dr. Pinson is an experienced interventional and electrophysiology (EP) cardiologist with the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute. He has been a dedicated member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center since 1987. He is currently board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He was previously board certified in EP Cardiology in 1996 and 2006.
Dr. Pinson completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He further advanced his training with an internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital.
As an EP cardiologist, Dr. Pinson specializes in treating atrial fibrillation (AFIB) and other arrhythmias. He is also proficient in the implantation and management of cardiac devices, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex heart rhythm disorders.
