Dr. Aliabadi is an experienced interventional cardiologist with the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute. He has been a dedicated member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center since 1997. He maintains his board certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Aliabadi completed his medical education at the University of California San Francisco Medical School. He then pursued his internal medicine residency at the University of California Davis School of Medicine. Following this, he completed a general cardiology fellowship at The University of New Mexico and an interventional cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Royal Oak, Michigan.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Aliabadi specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the heart and blood vessels using nonsurgical, catheter-based procedures and specialized imaging techniques. He treats coronary artery disease and heart valve disorders, among other heart problems. Dr. Aliabadi is experienced in performing procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement, which help restore normal blood flow in blocked arteries.
