Andreas Muench, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute. He is a member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center and is in integral part of the Structural Heart Program at the hospital.
Dr. Muench, board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, completed his medical education at the Medical Academy of Magdeburg. His residency and internship were completed at Kansas University Medical Center School of Medicine. Dr. Muench’s fellowship was done at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is specially trained in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and works closely with cardiac surgeons at Southeast Health to perform these procedures as a multi-disciplinary team.
