Dr. Osman is a skilled vascular surgeon with the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute. He joined the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center in 2024. He earned his medical degree at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Khartoum, Sudan.
Dr. Osman completed his residency at Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington, Pennsylvania, where he earned the Golden Award for outstanding performance three years in a row. He further specialized with a fellowship in vascular surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
As a vascular surgeon, he diagnoses and treats diseases and conditions affecting the vascular system, including arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. He performs a range of procedures from non-invasive treatments to complex surgeries, managing conditions such as peripheral and aortic aneurysms, dissections, and occlusive arterial disease, limb salvage, carotid artery disease, mesenteric ischemia, and thoracic outlet syndrome. Dr. Osman also brings in a newer modality to the Medical Center of treating carotid artery disease called Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR).
