Kerrie K. Cox, MSN, RN, has been named director of Critical Care Services at the Medical Center.

Kerrie will oversee our three critical care units, which includes our largest 32-bed Critical Care Unit on the fourth floor, a 10-bed Neurocritical Care Unit on the second floor and our newest 14-bed Critical Care Unit on the third floor.

Kerrie served as director of 7 East and 2 East before accepting her new role. She began her career at the Medical Center in 2007 as a critical care nurse in the Critical Care Unit, Neurocritical Care Unit and the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit. She has continued to grow professionally as a nursing leader in the organization.

Kerrie received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Nursing from Wallace Community College in Dothan. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Auburn University in Auburn. Kerrie earned her Master of Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
