Southeast Health is pleased to announce Jessica Spivey has been named director of HIPAA Privacy and Security. HIPPA is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

Jessica joined the Southeast Health Epic team in Information Systems in 2019 as assistant project manager for the Epic electronic medical records implementation. Taking on the role of director of HIPAA and Security is a result of her continued leadership growth in the organization.

As the leader of the organization’s HIPAA Privacy and Security program, some of Jessica’s duties will include developing and maintaining the organization’s security and awareness training and overseeing security awareness campaigns.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and trying new recipes, traveling to tropical places and attending Auburn University football games with friends.
