Tena Knight named Vice President of Support Services

We are delighted to announce that Tena Knight, RN, MSN, ACNS-BC, has been promoted to vice president of Support Services. Tena has been an invaluable member of our organization since she joined us in 1995 as a critical care nurse.

Throughout her tenure, Tena has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership. She has served in various roles, including clinical educator, clinical nurse specialist and director of the Neuro Clinical Care Unit. Notably, she played a pivotal role in developing our stroke program.

Tena has excelled as the associate chief nursing officer since 2017. In her new role as vice president of Support Services, she will provide administrative direction and support to the Environmental Services, Nutrition and Food Services, Safety and Security, Plant Operations and Design and Construction Teams.

Tena will bring a unique perspective to the role. As an experienced nurse, she has seen firsthand how the environment of care can play a pivotal role in patient healing and satisfaction. Additionally, she will be leading the emergency department and bed tower expansion project, one of the highest priority projects for the health system.
