Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to welcome Baowu Wang, MD, psychiatrist, to its hospitalist group.

Dr. Wang has most recently practiced as an attending staff psychiatrist at the Alabama Veteran’s Health Care System in Montgomery. Previously, he was the attending physician at Grayson and Associates at Crossbridge in Montgomery, as well as providing psychiatric consulting at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery.

Dr. Wang received his medical degree from Shandong Medical University in Jinan, China. He completed his psychiatry residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, New York. He also earned a PhD in nutritional sciences from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
