Southeast Health is pleased to announce Robert Rhett Rhyne, MD, general surgeon, has joined Southeast Health Surgery Clinic.

Dr. Rhyne comes to Dothan from Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina where he recently completed his general surgery residency. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences with a minor in business from Auburn University in Auburn.

A native of Benton, Alabama in Lowndes County, Dr. Rhyne’s family owns Rhyne’s Select Turf. His uncle is David N. Rhyne, MD, internal medicine, in Enterprise.

When he’s not working, Dr. Rhyne enjoys hunting, fishing, tennis, golf and spending time with family and friends.
