Dr. Chow joins Southeast Health Neurosciences
Southeast Health is pleased to announce Kevin Chow, MD, dual-trained vascular neurologist and neuroendovascular surgeon, has joined the Southeast Health Neurosciences Clinic at 1812 East Main Street.
Dr. Chow, who comes to the Medical Center from Toronto, Canada, completed his diagnostic year of his neuroendovascular surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He then completed his interventional year at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan.
Prior to that, Dr. Chow completed a separate fellowship in vascular neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin specializing in stroke care and perioperative management with an extensive neurointensive care background. While there, he collaborated within task force committees to achieve multiple stroke recognition awards and was awarded the medical school teacher award consecutively.
In his commitment to offering the latest innovations in patient care and providing safer more effective methods, Dr. Chow has pursued additional specialized training across the country in minimally invasive radial techniques, treating cerebral venous disorders, and novel cerebral aneurysm treatment using intrasaccular devices in addition to endovascular coiling and embolization.
Dr. Chow received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. He earned his Medical Degree from St. James School of Medicine. He completed his residency in neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
