Connor Weir, DO, who earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM), joins the Southeast Health Surgery Clinic.

An Alabama native, he returns to Dothan from East Lansing, Michigan where he most recently completed his internship and general surgery residency as chief resident at Michigan State University-McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital. In addition to earning his medical degree at ACOM, Dr. Weir received a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and he completed a Bachelor’s of Science in biomedical sciences at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

Dr. Weir’s wife, Sara-Bethany Weir, DO, will be returning to her alma mater as a member of the ACOM family medicine faculty.

Outside of work, Dr. Weir enjoys watching sports, especially Auburn athletics and the Liverpool Football Club. Some of his hobbies include collecting signed sports memorabilia, boating and playing with his dog.
