The Secret is Out
The world is beginning to take notice of what Southeast Health is doing. And what we’re doing is pouring all our passion, skill, knowledge, and teamwork into helping Southeast transcend its role as a regional medical center into one of the nation’s top health systems. What we’re doing is changing lives for the better.
Patients See the Difference
That good feeling isn’t limited to our staff. Patients can feel it, too, from the moment they walk through our doors. It shows in our outcomes and in what patients are saying about us.
The Accolades Keep Coming
We don’t do what we do for the awards, but they are a nice reminder that our hard work, dedication, and pride are making a difference. As educators, as clinicians, as citizens, and as a workplace, we are turning heads due to our commitment to excellence in all areas. Southeast Health Medical Center, the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the entire Southeast Health System have been recognized for their excellence in recent months – including awards¹ from the respected Lown Institute and U.S. News and World Reports. And it feels good.

The Future Looks Even Brighter
The change is not just a feeling, though. It’s measurable. Patient satisfaction scores, employee engagement scores, quality and outcome scores are all on the rise. ACOM students are reaching new levels of success, and more people are stepping up to be a part of this team. It’s no surprise. Just look at what we have to offer.
Committed to Quality Standards
Southeast Health has been recommended for full re-accreditation and IS0 9001 certification after a successful survey from DNV, our accrediting agency. The ISO 9001 Quality Management System is the most widely accepted system of its kind in the world, standardizing the processes of quality care that are proven to work and ensuring that they are utilized by every employee, every clinician, and every team throughout a healthcare system. Achieving ISO 9001 certification means our quality management system reflects our system-wide commitment to consistency, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction.
