Dr. Kendig is an experienced cardiac electrophysiologist with the Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute. He has been a dedicated member of the medical staff at Southeast Health Medical Center since 2017. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
As an EP cardiologist, Dr. Kendig specializes in treating atrial fibrillation (AFIB) and other arrhythmias through advanced cardiac ablation techniques. He is also proficient in the implementation and management of cardiac devices and he is specially trained to perform Watchman procedures, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex heart rhythm disorders.
Dr. Kendig completed his internship and residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He further honed his expertise through fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
