Thanks to the vision of the Houston County Health Care Authority, along with the community’s support, the establishment of the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) has changed the face of healthcare in the region forever. ACOM has opened a bright future in Dothan and the Wiregrass by providing healthcare providers who are ensuring quality medical care in our area. Currently, there are nine ACOM trained physicians on the Southeast Health medical staff. From hospital employed to independent physicians, ACOM is building a lasting legacy in our medical community. It is a legacy we can all be proud of.
