Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Denise Worthington has been named the Southeast Alabama Medical Group (SAMG) director of the Heart Rhythm Clinic. She adds these duties to her current roles as SAMG director of Southeast Surgical Associates and Southeastern Cardiovascular Associates.

Denise has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare clinics. The last 20 years as an office administrator. She was named office administrator of Southeastern Cardiovascular Associates (SCA) in 2008, overseeing three surgeons and nine clinic employees. In 2014, SCA became part of the SAMC family of specialty and primary care clinics.

Since joining SAMC, Denise has continued to grow professionally taking on the administrative role of Southeast Surgical Associates, which includes general surgeons, vascular surgeons and a plastic/reconstruction surgeon.

The Heart Rhythm Clinic features Arthur C. Kendig, MD, cardiac electrophysiologist (EP cardiologist).

Denise and her husband, Greg, have two children and two grandchildren. When Denise is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, camping and boating.
