Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) is pleased to announce Andrea Crutchfield has been named director of Reimbursement and Decision Support.

Andrea has more than 30 years of hospital financial experience in managing decision support and financial analysis, the last 17 years at SAMC.  She began her career at SAMC as a decision support analyst in Accounting in 2000. She was named manager decision support in 2008. Prior to coming to SAMC, she held various financial and decision support positions at Sacred Heart Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida for 14 years.

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting Information Systems from Troy University in Dothan in 2006.

Andrea and her husband, Michael, have five children and seven grandchildren. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, going to the beach and shopping.
