Southeast Health is pleased to announce Abdelsalam Osman, MD, vascular surgeon, has joined the Cardiovascular Institute.

Dr. Osman comes to Dothan after completing a fellowship in vascular surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He did his residency in general surgery at Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington, Pennsylvania. Dr. Osman earned his medical degree and completed an internship in his native country of Sudan.

Dr. Osman offers medical and surgical management for patients with complex and serious vascular diseases. Through advanced technology, Dr. Osman performs open and endovascular procedures.

Some of the conditions Dr. Osman treats are peripheral artery disease, aortic disease, mesenteric disease and carotid artery disease.
