Southeast Health named one of the nation’s most beautiful hospitals.
Southeast Health would like to thank everyone who voted for the Medical Center in the recent Soliant survey of the most beautiful hospitals in nation.
Despite finishing runner-up in the nation with more than 240,000 votes, the Medical Center is second to none when it comes to our team of people who provide excellent care for patients and those who work tirelessly to create and maintain a pristine appearance and healing environment.
“We are humbled by those of you who took time to vote,” said Jennifer Gaines, vice president of Support Services. “This outpouring of support is further affirmation that our dedicated Support Services team plays a vital role in the healing process and the overall patient experience.”
Gaines is proud of the Support Services division, which includes Plant Services, In-house Construction, Environmental Services, Security, Nutrition and Food Services, and their dedication to making the Medical Center a beautiful place to work and receive care.
The Houston County Health Care Authority, with more than $200 million in capital improvements during the last seven years, should also be commended for their commitment to continue providing this region with advanced equipment, facilities and service lines.
This marks the 12th year that Soliant has held the competition to name the “20 Most Beautiful Hospitals” in the nation. The Medical Center was one of more than 80 hospitals nationwide and one of only two in Alabama nominated for the distinction.
This prestigious recognition and your support by voting for Medical Center gives us the drive to continue making Southeast, Southbest.
