Southeast Health is pleased to welcome Wiregrass native and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) graduate Shane Snider, DO, to the Emergency Department.

Dr. Snider returns to Dothan after completing his Emergency Medicine residency at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. Prior to that, he completed a Transitional Year residency at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Snider received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Troy University, Dothan. He earned his medical degree from ACOM in Dothan. ACOM is the academic arm of the Southeast Health system.

He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. In his free time, Dr. Snider enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching college football, going to the gym and building computers.
