Andreas Muench, MD, and Erin Harrell, CRNP to join Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute.

Southeast Health is pleased to announce Andreas Muench, MD, interventional cardiologist, and Erin Harrell, CRNP, FNP-C will join the Southeast Health Medical Group this summer.

Dr. Muench, board certified in cardiology and cardiovascular disease, has been practicing in Dothan for almost 20 years. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Erin Harrell is an advance practice provider that received both her Bachelor and Masters in Nursing from Troy University.

The addition of these cardiovascular providers to the medical group reinforces Southeast Health’s commitment to maintaining a strong cardiology program. Recently several established cardiologists have joined the health system’s growing medical group. In the summer, the group will expand to five cardiologists as Andreas Muench, MD and Charles Mayes, MD who is new to Dothan, join with Darius Aliabadi, MD, Arthur Kendig, MD and Michael Pinson, MD in practice.

These cardiology providers specialize in the treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the heart and blood vessels. Together they help treat and prevent a wide range of cardiovascular issues and strive to help patients live their healthiest lives.

Southeast Health is the region’s largest provider of Heart and Vascular Services and physicians in the medical group along with independent cardiologists on the medical staff have committed to helping recruit new physicians to the area and work together to continue to address the region’s cardiovascular health needs.
